I was invited to take part in the Illustration Symposium Broumov 2025, alongside five other illustrators. For two weeks, we lived and worked together in the Broumov Monastery. It was a rare and valuable opportunity to step away from commissioned work and focus entirely on personal exploration.

During this time, I allowed myself to create freely. Experimenting with new techniques, including painting, and letting ideas develop without pressure. Broumov and its surroundings were a constant source of inspiration: the colourful architecture of the town and the dramatic, natural landscape all around made a deep impression on me.

The work was exhibited in the city of Broumov at the end of the residency and will be displayed at the LUSTR Festival in Prague in September 2025.
